Upcountry Farmers Market

Maui’s biggest weekly farmers market, held Saturday mornings in the Kulamalu Town Center parking lot near Pukalani. More than 100 local vendors sell Upcountry produce, flowers, fresh fish, baked goods and crafts.

Why we love it

It’s where Upcountry shops: Kula vegetables, tropical fruit and flowers grown a few miles away, and breakfast from local vendors.

What to expect

The market fills the lot near the football fields at Kulamalu Town Center from 7 to 11 a.m. Come early for the best produce and easier parking; by late morning the lot and the aisles get busy. Expect stalls of fruit and vegetables, tropical flowers, fresh fish, baked goods and crafts, plus food to eat on the spot. The market posts a vendor map online if you’re hunting for something specific. It’s an easy add-on to a Haleakalā sunrise trip or a morning in Makawao.
