A Maui shave ice company that started about 17 years ago in a tiny Lahaina shop and now has several stores around Maui. Syrups are made with ultra-purified water, pure cane sugar and fruit purées.
Why we love it
The ice is fine and fluffy, the flavors taste like real fruit, and the Dairy Road shop is minutes from the airport.
What to expect
The Kahului shop sits on Dairy Road, the main route between the airport and the rest of the island, so it’s an easy first or last stop of a trip. Pick your size and flavors at the counter; toppings like mochi and cream are popular add-ons. Lines can build on hot afternoons. Ululani’s original Lahaina shop and its Banyan Tree location were lost in the 2023 fire; other Maui shops are in Kīhei, Wailuku (Maui Lani) and at Maui Ocean Center, where no aquarium ticket is needed.
