Maui Swap Meet

A long-running Saturday market in the back lot of the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College in Kahului. Booths sell island-grown produce and tropical fruit, local food, crafts and souvenirs.

Why we love it

It’s a cheap, cheerful look at Maui life on a Saturday, with fruit and snacks you won’t find in a supermarket.

What to expect

The swap meet sets up in the college’s rear parking lot, across from the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Come in the morning while the produce is freshest and before the midday sun. Expect rows of craft and souvenir booths plus a produce section with island fruit, and food vendors for breakfast or lunch. There is a small cash admission at the gate. Plan an hour or two. It’s close to the airport and Kahului hotels.
