A grab-and-go counter in Old Kōloa Town known for fresh, traditional poke in ahi, spicy and shoyu styles. It’s the South Shore’s go-to for a poke bowl to take to the beach.
Why we love it
Fresh, unfussy poke a few minutes from Poʻipū, at local prices. It’s the best beach picnic on the South Shore.
What to expect
Think of this as a picnic supplier rather than a restaurant. Stop at the counter on Kōloa Road, pick your poke by style (shoyu, spicy or classic ahi), and take it with rice down to Poʻipū Beach Park. The best poke often sells out by midday, so come in the morning or late morning. Old Kōloa Town, with its plantation-era history, makes it easy to combine with a coffee or a browse. Confirm hours first, since Hurricane Lowell disrupted many South Shore businesses in September 2026.
