An early-opening breakfast spot in Kalama Village, across South Kīhei Road from Kalama Beach Park. The menu runs to big plates like banana-coconut pancakes, biscuits and gravy, pork fried rice and omelets.
Why we love it
It’s the classic Kīhei breakfast before a snorkel: generous plates, outdoor tables and the beach across the street.
What to expect
Seating is outdoors in the Kalama Village courtyard, so it’s casual and breezy. A line often forms by about 7 a.m., so arriving right at opening makes it easier. Order omelets, scrambles or the pancakes, and eat at the outdoor tables. After breakfast, walk across the street to Kalama Beach Park or head down the coast toward Wailea for the water. Hours have shifted over the years, so check before you set an alarm.
